29th July 2012 - 1st post

Assalamu'alaikum readers :) 

shall i introduce myself? oh, i don't think i need to. simply drag your cursor to right side of the blog. do you see 'view my complete profile' there? so yeah~ *facepalm*

alright, for the start im gonna blog about food and i choose cupcakes :D i imagine a small cake in a papercup with tasty-look icing and beautiful add-on decoration on top. when was the idea of making cupcakes started? erm i don't know. i bet Mr. Wikipedia knows it. lol. my teachers and lecturers told us not too depend on Wikipedia for answers because the content can be edited by visitors. okay, whatever.

okay, now i wanna share a chocolate angel cupcake recipe.


• 1  cup flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup baking cocoa (powdered)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups egg whites (from approximately 10 large eggs)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon red food coloring

Chocolate Angel Food Cupcake Recipe Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine egg whites with salt, and beat until foamy.  Add cream of tartar, and continue to beat until stiff.

Stir in sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. 
In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cocoa, and baking powder.  Fold flour mixture into egg whites gradually. 
Spoon batter into cupcake liners until 1/2 full.  Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool cupcakes completely in pan.

to add the flavor you can put on top the chocolate glaze or strawberry preserves and  a Maltesers on the middle top. 

p/s: send me some if you already bake them :p i am hungry now. what a total shame i don't  know how to bake. oops!
